You can unlock any villain you want just by playing through the game's story normally, but if you're really impatient, there are codes you can use to unlock specific villains at any time. Experiment the second you unlock a new villain, and see who your favorite is! You might find the game's combat easier as a result. Though your hero will gain basic abilities for progressing the more you play, you'll want to try out the different DC villains too, as some may have more powerful attacks better suited to certain playstyles. You can fight as the different DC villains, too, and each one has a different set of powers and stats. This is necessary for solving some puzzles, and you'll be prompted to swap if there's something you can interact with by using a certain villain.īut that's not all. ![]() Remember earlier when I said it was fine to customize your character however you liked and not worry about missing out on your favorite villains? You'll start to unlock the different villains of the game as you play through the story, and you'll gain the ability to swap between them at will while you're out in the world. This will be necessary later if you want to unlock all the characters, too! Swap villains often You can always use Level Select to return to areas you've already been to and explore a bit more. Never fear if you miss a Red Brick, or anything else for that matter. Your first Stud Multiplier Brick isn't until Level 8 - Fight at the Museum, and requires a platforming challenge hidden behind a mirror portal. The second, in It's Good To Be Bad, is inside the fish tank on the second floor of the Iceberg Lounge, though you'll need to bust the tank apart and throw the fish around to get it. To get you started, you can find the first Red Brick in New Kid On The Block on the clock tower, held by the golden gargoyle statue. You can then activate the different bonuses from these Bricks in the game's Extras menu. You can visit STAR Labs in Metropolis at any time to see how many Red Bricks you have - it's up the elevator inside the building. Each Red Brick offers a different bonus unlock - some of them will multiply the number of studs you collect, others unlock special modes, or other abilities such as a Minikit Detector to help you track down more Minikits.
